Betty is a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute. The GRI designation is obtained by attending a specific, intensive series of a minimum of 90 hours of classroom instruction, covering subjects in contract law, professional standards, sales and marketing, finance and risk reduction. The subject matter consists of local, state and national real estate practices.
She holds the Accredited Buyer Representative designation of ABR. This designation is awarded by the Real Estate BUYER'S AGENT Council (REBAC), an affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS®, to real estate practitioners who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria.
REALTORS® who have earned the SFR certification know how to help sellers maneuver the complexities of short sales as well as help buyers pursue short sale and foreclosure opportunities. The certification program includes training on how to qualify sellers for short sales, negotiate with lenders, protect buyers, and limit risk, and provides resources to help REALTORS stay current on national and state-specific information as the market for these distressed properties evolves.
As an ASP (Accredited Staging Professional Real Estate Agent) she includes a staging consultation for the seller when they sign a listing agreement contract to list & sell their home with her. Successful REALTORS® know that in order to get top dollar for their clients they need to know how Staging works and communicate the benefits of Home Staging to their sellers.
